A Pulse Check into the 8 Dimensions of Your Wellbeing

In today's 5 Minutes we heart from Adrienne Hornby who is a health and wellbeing consultant working with schools across Australia. She partners alongside school leaders, teachers and staff to build and embed a tailored ‘Staff Wellbeing Action Plan’. Each plan aims to nurture a positive school environment and address teacher burnout, so that they can improve school outcomes and performance. 


A primary school teacher and school leader by trade, Adrienne became a health and wellbeing coach for individuals and now a consultant for schools after her own experience with and recovery from professional burnout. She worked hard to improve the quality of her own health and wellbeing and soon began to notice how this positively influenced her professional practice and leadership capabilities. 


It is now her aim to support schools to put staff health and wellbeing at the top of their school's priority list, so they are best able to contribute to a positive school culture and influence student academic and life outcomes.
